Yolanda Carmelita Drummond passed away peacefully in her sleep October 7, 2020. She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Michael Edwin Drummond, Her mother Maria, father Gustavo, brother Gustavo Jr, sister Grace, Nephew Louie, nephew Victor.
She is survived by children Steven Michael Drummond, Theresa Maria (Drummond) Eskridge, Jim Gregory Drummond, Denise Noelle (Drummond) Simco. Grandchildren Clint, Amber, Christopher, Jamie and Hailey Noelle. Great grandchildren Chloe, Colin, Andrew, Trevor and Colton.
Yolanda was born in Los Angeles, CA on August 7, 1940. She became a proud military wife for the rest of her life. She was also an avid die-hard Denver Bronco fan and season ticket holder for over 30 years. She loved to be around family and friends. She loved any type of celebration. She loved exploring new places with her favorite destination being New Orleans. She will be missed by all but we know she and her husband Michael are in heaven cheering on the Broncos.
Burial next to her loving husband will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 1 PM in the Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado in the care of Dalton-Hoopes Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
